Spindowners Story on the Way!

As you may know, development on this game has been in spurts. The latest slump has been due in part to a final crunch to get my new book Drupal Multimedia ready for publication, and working on a new (and simpler) game engine at 5 Second Game.

Don't fret: I do intend to get back to work here as well, although I'm going to meander down a different path on the way.

I plan to write a novel/blog taking place in the Spindowners world. I promised my next book would be a blog, and this will be it! I'm in the middle of sketching out characters and plot right now, and plan to begin writing the first "chapter" online next month (as soon as my first book is published).

This will help me keep a focus on where I want the game, help to create the setting and environment, and help players to understand at least some back story of the substation.

Meanwhile, the game system is actually in place, although needs some major development before it's ready to open for a beta. Let me know if you'd like an e-mail announcement when that's time! Or just create a user here; I'll automatically send out an announcement to registered users when it's time.
